Job Description:

Our unique team is looking for a friendly, upbeat, motivated, goal-oriented, self-driven Receptionist who is ready and willing to join our fast growing business. Ideal candiate will need to be crossed-trained to assist the Property Manager.Where commitment to excellence is a way of life, a winning attitude is the mindset of choice. The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all clients. This person has excellent communication and customer service skills. He/she must have a basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures/systems and the ability to multitask while working in a fast pace enviorment. Responsibilities: Welcome guests, employees, and clients andclarify the purpose of their visit. Answering phones, assisting clients, data entry, and light filing. Researching and contacting potential tenants. Schedule showings and maket vacant properties. Negotiate and close lease transactions. File and keep good records. Data entry accurately and timely. Maintain an organized filing system. Complete other miscellaneous duties. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pmRequirements: Applicants must have proven customer service skills. Ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Meet company attendance standards on conduct: 60 day probation period Demonstrate good communication skills. Help ensure positive communication. A high school diploma is required Sales and Customer Service required Marketing experience is a plus. Must be able to take initiative. Minimum of one years related experience is preferred, not required Knowledge of basic computer use Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Doc, Sheets etc. Ability to commute to and from work daily (Required) Reliable transportation starting work (Required) Average with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to learn basic new systems Reliable, professional, courteous and patient Good communication and writing skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hourSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No nights No weekendsAbility to commute/relocate: Lafayette, LA 70506: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education: High school or equivalent (Required)Experience: Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required) Google Docs: 1 year (Required) Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Required) Customer service: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
