Student Coordinator is responsible for assisting prospective
students through the admissions process and providing them with
information about the institution's programs and services. This
position serves as a primary point of contact for prospective
students and works closely with the admissions team to ensure a
smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email,
and in-person visits. Conduct campus tours and information sessions
for prospective students and families. Assist students with the
application process, including reviewing applications for
completeness and accuracy. Coordinate recruitment events, such as
open houses, information sessions, and college fairs. Develop and
maintain relationships with high school counselors and community
organizations to promote the institution. Track and report on
recruitment activities and outcomes. Collaborate with other
departments, such as academic advising and financial aid, to ensure
a seamless transition for students. Stay up-to-date on industry
trends and best practices in student recruitment and enrollment
management. Qualifications: Previous experience in admissions,
recruitment, or student services preferred. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part
of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of post-secondary education programs and admissions
processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information
systems. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in student
recruitment efforts.
