now hiring a new team member to help us design effective
advertising campaigns for brands across the country. The National
Sales Graphic Designer works as part of the National Creative
Services team to provide design thinking and executions to fulfill
a range of design requests that support the National Sales
department. Lamar’s National Sales department in Baton Rouge’s
Corporate Office is home to 70 professionals supporting all cycles
of the sales process. The National Creative Services Team is a
group of creative geniuses within the National Sales department. We

Photoshop; working knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign Have a
solid understanding of design fundamentals, techniques, and
concepts, particularly as they relate to typography, hierarchy, and
layout Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively
manage multiple, concurrent projects and resources in a deadline
driven environment Detail-oriented Disciplined, with strong problem
solving skills Demonstrate the ability to design quality conceptual
art in a fast-turnaround setting to meet/exceed deadlines
Self-motivated, personable, team-player with a positive and
accommodating attitude Seeks out and responds positively to
constructive criticism Ability to brainstorm individually and
collaboratively, mock up designs, and present ideas Works well in a
team environment. Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree
required, preferably in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia
Design, or a related field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 4 years
of relevant experience required 1-2 years’ work experience required

in National Creative Services processes in order to manage
communication and expectations for design delivery to National
Sales stakeholders, agencies, and direct customers. Understand and
confirm the projected scope of requests and manage personal
production timeline and queue to ensure deliveries are on time and
complete. Discover targeted brands and research their current
advertising campaigns in order to fulfill design requests from
National Sales. Collaborate with the National Creative Services
team, the National Sales staff, and additional stakeholders on
creative solutions and design recommendations across various
formats and mediums. Design visually appealing goal-based solutions
that delight stakeholders, agencies, clients, and targeted users.
Understand and incorporate the best of out of home’s traditional,
digital, transit, and innovative capabilities into artwork and
presentation materials. Communicate design decisions in the context
of the client’s needs and goals, both verbally and in writing.
Review and present design and rationale to the National Creative
Services Art Director for approval to ensure deliverables fulfill
the request, creative brief, and business strategy. Keep abreast of
current design, industry, and technological trends and professional
development opportunities. Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The primary work environment is an office. The physical demands for
this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on
reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%. Who we
