Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A part-time opportunity is available for a Special
Education Teacher to provide essential support and instruction to
students with diverse learning needs in the Baton Rouge, LA area.
This travel position requires 20-25 hours per week, offering
flexibility while making a meaningful impact in educational
environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students
unique needs. Deliver specialized instruction using evidence-based
strategies in inclusive or self-contained classrooms. Collaborate
with general education teachers, support staff, and families to
promote student success. Monitor and document student progress,
adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Support behavioral
interventions and accommodate learning differences to foster a
positive learning environment. Desired Qualifications: Valid
special education teaching certification. Experience working with
students with special needs across various age groups. Strong
communication skills for effective collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams and families. Ability to adapt lesson plans
to meet varied learning styles and abilities. Flexibility and
willingness to travel to assigned schools within the region.
