We are currently hiring for Experienced Full Time Utility Locator Technicians to work in Denver, CO. Must have 2 years experience locating underground gas and electric.You will work either 7 days on and 7 days off or 14 days on and 14 days off.Per diem and lodging will be provided.Starting wage ranging from $21-$27/hour depending on experience.All of our field technicians are provided with:

We are available for interviews after hours as well!Responsibilities:Line locators will work under the direction of their company supervisor, performing work that involves visual inspection of predefined construction areas and reading and interpretation of utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities, while using special electronic equipment to locate and protect the utility from being damaged. Some of these utilities include gas, electric, water, cable, sewer and more.Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings: Drug test, background check, and driving record
  • Upon employment, subject to random drug testing in compliance with DOT guidelines
  • Must be able to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work scheduleWorking Conditions and Hours:
    • Outdoor work environment
    • Driving company vehicle to and from work sites
    • Normal working hours are 7am - 5pm Monday through Friday; limited work hours on weekends except for periodic on-call duty and mass workloadsKnowledge and Abilities:
      • Successfully complete the company's training program and pass applicable written and field tests
      • Develop a general knowledge of state and local damage prevention regulations
