Job Description Job Description Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Assembly Technician (Chassis) Location: Lafayette, GA Job Description Weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (11am-11:30pm) Paid for full 40 hours and may have overtime options through the week. $18 starting pay rate with opportunities to increase quickly! Responsible for the mechanical assembly of heavy equipment components using blueprints. Assemble body components and electrical wiring, focusing on all chassis electromechanical and side body components. Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly of heavy equipment components. Utilize blueprints to assemble body components and electrical wiring. Assemble all chassis electromechanical and side body components of trucks. Essential Skills Use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to read tape measure or blueprint-style work instructions. Mechanically inclined with attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with tools such as 1/2 inch impact, 3/4 impact, 9mm wrench, 3/8 impact, 1 inch impact, hydraulic hose assembly, 19mm extensions, and 19mm sockets. Experience running basic automotive wiring. Wiring harness, etc. Familiarity with heavy machinery, vehicle maintenance, automotive service, automotive repair, engine repair, assembly line operations, schematics, and preventive maintenance Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LaFayette, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
