The incumbent is responsible and accountable for planning, coordinating, and directing activities in these units to assure safe, quality care in a cost-effective manner. The Director is also a clinical resource person who acts as a role model for the staff. He/she determines staff needs and identifies areas for improvement. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. Description Minimum Required Education Completion of B.S.N. nursing program at an accredited school, Training 3 years clinical experience required; Recent L&D experience required; 1-2 years management experience required Special Skills ACLS within 6 months of hire, NRP within 6 months of hire Licensure Current Louisiana State license as RN required.
