Position Description
We're growing rapidly and are looking for a Project Manager to help us manage program portfolios that deliver strategic business objectives and value. When you join us, you'll play a key role working with customers and other stakeholders to develop and implement solutions in a complex, highly dynamic environment. As a Program Manager, you will help us provide strategic and technical management oversight to a complex portfolio of systems for one of our Federal client.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Be accountable for program-level activities, milestones, performance, schedule, risks.
  • Work closely with the client and business partners to build trust while managing all aspects of the program and providing transparency to our client.
  • Plan and schedule program-level activities and schedule of projects.
  • Manage program-level scope, issues and risks, and quality management.
  • Be well versed in full systems development life cycle, enterprise wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, and management practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the program.
  • Resolve resource conflicts.
  • Negotiate timelines with key stakeholders.
  • Provide status regarding program health to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables are produced according to defined schedule.
    Required qualifications to be successful in this role
    • 15+ years of project or program management experience.
    • Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline.
    • 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
    • Ability to obtain a the equivalent to a Public Trust clearance with the U.S. Federal Government.
    • Solid project management skills related to project planning and control, scope management, issue and risk management, and quality management.
    • Experience managing a portfolio of projects.
    • Strong client management experience.
    • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
    • Timely, decisive, and effective problem-solving skills.
    • SAFe Agilist and/or Project Management Certification, preferred.
