Position Title: University Advancement: Assistant Director of Advancement OperationsDepartment: 7040-University AdvancementResponsibilities:The Assistant Director of Advancement Operations supports the University's mission in the areas of advancement services, development, donor stewardship, and prospect research. The incumbent reports directly to the Director of Advancement Technology and is responsible for the training and documentation related to all aspects of our system of record, CRM Advance. The incumbent will also be the administrator for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation's Scholarship Management software. This includes coordinating with Advancement Technology, Central IT, and the Vendor to administrate and manage the Award Management system along with the management of new and existing scholarships sponsored by the Foundation.Essential Functions:--- Develop and maintain documentation related to CRM Advance--- Create engaging curriculum for all end users of CRM Advance, keeping materials updated with each new version of the application--- Work with divisions to onboard their teams and ensure they are familiar with the Foundation's Scholarship Management software--- Maintain scholarship and matching criteria for every scholarship--- Train and support faculty in use of the scholarship management system--- Create engaging curriculum (video, remote, etc.) that will train students on how to use the Scholarship Management system--- Be available during predetermined time windows to offer support of CRM Advance and the Scholarship Management system--- Monitor award percentages and notify Development when scholarships are at risk of not being awarded on a semester basis--- Work with the Office of Communications and Marketing to promote usage of the Scholarship Management software by studentsQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in informatics, business information systems, or a related discipline with 5+ years of directly related experience.--- Experience writing business documentation--- Experience in instruction/teaching--- Experience testing and debugging business process workflows--- Experience interacting effectively with users to design and deploy business process workflows--- Experience writing business process workflow documentation in accordance with published standardsPreferred Qualifications:--- Masters in Business Administration--- Experience with management or involvement in complex projects--- Experience integrating with hosted solutions such as MS Dynamics, Salesforce or equivalent--- Experience in higher education advancement--- Experience handling confidential information--- Good knowledge and understanding of computer security issues--- Experience interacting with University Faculty in a leadership roleJob Ad#(req1933)
