Location: Baton Rouge LA 70816 Shift- Day, 3x12 7a to 7p Epic,
Med/Tele experience > 1-year, cardiac drips, EKG interpretation
This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using
the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act,
ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively
delegates, directs and assists licensed and ancillary team members;
assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits
sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all
interactions; maintains involvement in activities aimed toward the
achievement of unit and the department's strategic goals and
objectives and demonstrates professional responsibility and
accountability for his/her own practice and supports the company's

Registered nurse diploma. Preferred - Associate or bachelor's
degree in nursing. Experience Required - 2 years Certifications
Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of
practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the
American Heart Association. Preferred - Certification in clinical
specialty area. KSAs /t - Proficiency in using computers, software,
and web-based applications. /t - Effective verbal and written
communication skills and ability to present information clearly and
professionally. /t - Strong interpersonal skills. /t - Good
organizational and time management skills and ability to be
self-directed. /t - Ability to demonstrate good judgement. Job

and other groups or disciplines. /t - Communicates, delegates, and

within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for
exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the
environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation,
dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of
contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase
depending on the essential job duties of the role. First week
Orientation can be at any area facility. In-unit training will be
at the actual site of work. Candidate needs to be able to travel to
the sites in the area for orientation as need be. First day
