Must have travel experience Description: The position is for a
Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The nurse
will work a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. Rotating weekends are
required. No on-call duty is required. The nurse may float to other
areas when census is down. Candidates must possess current BLS,
ACLS, and PALS certifications. Experience in managing pediatric
patients with acute or chronic conditions is essential. The nurse
will be responsible for various skills, including administering
medications, monitoring patients, and performing procedures. Ideal
candidates will be familiar with hemodynamic monitoring and the
care of ventilated patients. Knowledge of pediatric dosage
calculations and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias is
important. Experience in central line care, arterial line
management, and phlebotomy is required. The unit accommodates
adolescents, infants, and pediatric patients with respiratory
diseases, trauma, and other critical conditions. The daily census
is 2 patients with a maximum of 5 beds available. Interdisciplinary
support from various healthcare professionals is available in the
unit. Candidates should maintain minimum requests for time off,
especially in the initial weeks of assignment. Applicants can
expect to work some holidays as needed. Orientation will be
available as part of the onboarding process, with modules required
