high-volume Emergency Medicine locums opportunity in a premier,
full-service medical facility located in Southwest Louisiana. This
flagship regional medical center features a large, modern Emergency
Department serving over 48,000 patients annually and is equipped
with state-of-the-art imaging and critical care infrastructure. The
ED includes specialized treatment areas for trauma, mental health,
and fast-track patients, offering a dynamic clinical environment
for physicians who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.
Youll work with a collaborative and well-supported clinical team,
including experienced Advanced Practice Providers and scribe
coverage. With newly renovated facilities, high-volume exposure,
and robust physician and APP support, this is an ideal role for
Emergency Medicine physicians seeking competitive compensation in a
professionally rewarding environment. Highlights: - $325/hr for
Emergency Medicine locums - ED volume: 48,000 annually - 40-bed
Emergency Department with CT and digital x-ray onsite - Specialty
treatment areas for critical care, mental health, and fast track -
3641 hours/day of physician coverage - 5569 hours/day of APP
coverage - Average 30 hours of daily scribe support - EMR: McKesson
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice fully covered Qualifications: -
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal
Medicine, or Family Medicine - Active Louisiana medical license -
Previous high-volume ER experience preferred
