A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced XR Imaging Technologist with a strong background in diagnostic radiology. This role centers on delivering high-quality imaging services to a diverse patient population, including inpatients, outpatients, emergency department cases, and surgery patients. This position requires a minimum of two years of XR technology experience and valid ARRT and ISDH licenses. Proficiency in fluoroscopy and surgical imaging procedures is essential, alongside familiarity with Philips, Carestream, and OEC C-Arm equipment preferred. The role operates within a fast-paced hospital radiology department equipped with state-of-the-art Philips and Carestream XR rooms and portable equipment using EPIC electronic medical records. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. 36 guaranteed weekly hours Rotating weekend shifts every 4th weekend On-call responsibilities required Qualifications & Desired Experience: ARRT certification and ISDH Technologist license mandatory Minimum 2 years experience in XR imaging Skilled in fluoroscopy and surgical imaging procedures Experience with Philips, Carestream, and OEC C-Arm equipment is advantageous Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team Adaptability to assist with shift coverage when needed Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations including fluoroscopy and surgical imaging Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to protocols Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and clinical teams to provide timely and accurate imaging studies Maintain patient records accurately within the EPIC system Location Insight: Situated in the vibrant city of Lafayette, IN, this hospital offers a modern diagnostic radiology department on its ground floor, serving a 225-bed facility.
