Behavioral Hospital of Lake Charles is a 22-bed acute care facility
providing specialized inpatient and outpatient behavioral health
services for adults. Through a multidisciplinary care approach, we
strive to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life for
those we serve. We are currently seeking afull-time Certified
Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the day shift (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) to join
our clinical team. Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant
supports the nursing and clinical teams by assisting with patient
care activities, monitoring patient well-being, and documenting
relevant clinical information. This role plays an essential part in
maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for
patients. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but
are not limited to: Support the physical, psychological, and
emotional well-being of patients Assist patients with activities of
daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, and mobility
Maintain patient rooms, equipment, and clothing, including routine
laundry as needed Observe and monitor therapy groups under the
supervision of licensed clinical staff Collect, document, and
communicate patient care information accurately Perform patient
care duties under the direction of licensed nursing staff Promote
patient safety, infection control practices, and proper body
mechanics Assist with general patient care activities and other
duties as assigned Qualifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
certification preferred Experience working with geriatric
psychiatric or behavioral health patients strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary
