Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position
Departments : Endoscopy - ENDO Job Title : Endo Tech Specialty :
Endoscopy / GI Lab Location : Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Shift : Day
Shift 8 Hour, Monday thru Friday 7am to 3:30pm with fluidity in
start and end times daily. Call requirement is also required and
covers the unit 24/7, weekdays, weekends and holidays Shift
Description : Endo Tech, competent in all endo procedures,
advanced–ERCP and EUS, Pul procedures–Bronchs, EBUS and Robotics.
Must live Ochs Mission and values, put patients first, & function
and behave as a full time Ochsner employee would. This is to
replace Latasha Franklin, Tech, who after mult call/no shows,
extended LOA, etc, no call/no show for weekend call outs and work
today. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able
to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements

duties. This job competently and professionally assists in
procedures, understands the basic principles of anatomy and
physiology associated with GI procedures, and ensures appropriate
handling and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Education
Required – High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with
endoscopic procedures. Must be able to work independently,
completing all of the tasks associated with ENDO Tech - GI and
Pulmonary procedures, scope reprocessing, working on
call/after-hours unassisted, and working in a competent and
compassionate manner for emergency procedures. 1 years of
experience. Certifications Required - Current Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred
- Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification obtained
through IAHCSMM, Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER),
Certification obtained through CBSPD KSAs • Proficiency in using
computers, software, and web-based applications. • Effective verbal
and written communication skills and ability to present information
clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals
throughout the patient care process. • Excellent organizational
skills. • Excellent time management skills. • Ability to travel
throughout and between facilities and work a flexible work
schedule. Job Duties • Assist physicians during procedures. •
Ensures endoscope cleanliness and/or disinfection while maintaining
quality control measures. • Maintains all equipment. • Maintains
technical and professional knowledge. • Provides effective care and
adapts to change positively and constructively. • Performs other
