ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN
Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Lafayette,
Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36
hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel
Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • 8-week backfill
assignment starting ASAP • Work every other holiday with weekend
coverage required • Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and
weekends • 12-hour orientation provided • Can be pulled to all
other inpatient units (agency staff pulled first) • Unable to
guarantee specific scheduling requests such as block scheduling •
Care for adult and geriatric patients on 24-bed unit with daily
census of 24 • Treat patients with chest pain, CAD, PVD,
arrhythmias, DM, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, hypertension, MI,
renal failure, PE, CHF, GI bleed, and syncope • Handle potential
med-surg overflow including GI bleed, sepsis, CVA, and COVID
patients • Perform pre/post cath lab procedures, PPM/AICD,
ablations, post-op CABG, post-op thoracotomy, and vascular
surgeries • Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips including
Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Nitroglycerin, Dopamine, and
heparin • Perform sheath pulling at bedside • Work with telemetry
monitoring, chest tubes, PCAs, epidurals, and wound vacs • Required
certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS • Must have 2 years of
experience in specialty • Louisiana or compact state license
required upon submittal • Must live over 65 miles from facility (no
local travelers accepted) • Strict no call-in policy enforced • May
be assigned to emergency team during facility emergencies with
expectation to remain until event passes Facility: This medical

specialized cardiac and telemetry services with a 24-bed unit. The
facility features advanced cardiac care capabilities including
catheterization lab services, cardiac surgery support, and
specialized monitoring equipment. The organization maintains high
standards for patient care with extensive interdisciplinary support
including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and
specialized interpretation services. Location: Lafayette, LA
