Job Description StaffMED Health Partners is proud to partner with a leading healthcare system in Louisiana to assist in the search for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician. This opportunity offers a high-acuity emergency department with a collaborative team, strong APP support, and excellent specialty backup to ensure quality patient care. Position Highlights: - High-Volume Emergency Department: 60,000 annual visits - Modern ED Layout: 51 beds (including 10 holding beds) with a dedicated fast-track area - Flexible Scheduling: 48 physician hours/day in 12-hour shifts - Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Support: 72 APP hours/day in 12-hour shifts - EMR System: MediTech - Support Staff: Scribes available to assist workflow Work Environment & Support: - Collaborative Team: Experienced Medical Director and APP leadership on-site - Specialty Backup Available - Hospital Coverage Provided This well-equipped emergency department provides a dynamic and efficient work environment with opportunities for competitive compensation and career growth.
