This role involves providing high-quality perioperative care as an OR circulator RN, with proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurology, robotics, urology, vascular surgery, and burn care. Location: Based in Lafayette, LA, this position allows you to serve a vibrant community known for its rich culture and southern hospitality. Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (06:30 AM 5:00 PM) Rotating on-call duties required Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage patient care throughout surgical procedures as the circulating nurse Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are available Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR team members for seamless workflow Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and sterile techniques Support specialty surgeries in ortho, neuro, robotic-assisted procedures, urology, vascular, and burn patient care Qualifications: Current RN license and active registration Proven OR nursing experience, ideally with a background in multiple surgical specialties listed above Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond swiftly in critical situations Effective communication and teamwork skills under high-pressure environments This is a contract role providing an exciting opportunity to utilize diverse surgical nursing skills.
