system experience (McKesson) Description: Endoscopy schedule: 5
shifts of 8 hours each, Monday to Friday. Floating to other
departments for preoperative and postoperative care is expected if
volume is low. Call requirements include one full weekend per month
and one night per week. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of
experience. Backfill for adjustable time required. Patient ratios
during the day shift are typically 4 patients per nurse. Experience
in outpatient endoscopy centers and handling specialized equipment
such as balloon dilators and polyps snares is essential.
Responsibilities include administering conscious sedation and
managing airway during procedures. The facility caters to adult and
geriatric patient demographics with an approximate daily census of
15 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available, including
physical therapy and pharmacy services. Candidates must comply with
travel requirements and maintain flexibility with scheduling.
