Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work standard procedure hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures /n• Call duties divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend /n• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning /n• Must arrive to department within 30 minutes of being notified when on call /n• Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed /n• 24 hours of orientation provided /n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations /n• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day /n• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts /n• 7 weekend shifts required per contract /n• One pre-approved time off request allowed /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License /n• 2 years of experience in specialty required /n• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted /n• Epic charting system experience preferred /n• Must live more than 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted) /n• Compact or Louisiana license required in hand upon submittal /n• NURSYS reports must be current within 4 weeks of submission /n• No call-ins permitted - strict attendance policy /n• May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to remain at facility /n/n Facility: /n This major medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services including advanced interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures.
