Assists in maintaining a smooth flow of activity in the
office.Prepares treatment rooms, escorts patients to rooms,
prepares patient as appropriate for treatment, and notifies
therapist that patient is ready for treatment.Cleans treatment
rooms after use. Oversees aquatic and gym exercise programs for
adult wellness programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Prepares treatment rooms for patients.
b.Provides clean linens, towels and gowns/shorts
2.Escorts patients into treatment rooms or gym
a.Puts patient charts on doors
b.Takes patient charts to gym
3.Notifies Physical Therapists that patient is in a room
4.Under direct supervision of a Physical Therapist assists in
providing treatment if activity is commensurate with training and
ability, and as permitted by state law.
5.Under direct supervision of and with co-signature by, records
daily notes and notes with significant incidents.
6.Cleans treatments rooms after each patient use
b.Removes soiled lines
7.Does laundry, maintaining an ample supply of clean linens.
8.Assists Secretary and Billing Manager in answering phones,
scheduling patients, pulling charts, filing, and typing.
9.Teaches arthritis water exercise class
10.Open and Close Facility
11.Make copies of schedule (gym, pool, PT Aide, PTA, PT)
12.Does laundry, maintaining an ample supply of clean
13.Collects garbage cans for pick-up
14.Maintenance of swimming pools - check chemicals, cleaning,
15.Assists Secretary and Billing Manager in answering phones,
16.Supervises adult wellness program - after hours.
17.Gives tour of facility to after hour visitors
18.Gives proper paperwork to new adult wellness program members
19.Instructs adult wellness program members in independent
20.Performs related duties as requested.
21.Reports problems to Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy
22.Accepts other duties and assignments within his/her scope of
training, knowledge, skills and abilities.
1.One (1) year experience preferred.
2.High School graduate
3.Must be a student currently enrolled in and pursuing a
healthcare related field.
4.Six months preferred with documented specific training in
providing treatment as permitted by state law.
6.CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor
constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a
maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis * May be required
to assist in the turning, lifting, or moving patients as well as
walking about from patients' rooms, as well as to and from various
