Quality Validation Technician
This position will serve as the senior Quality Assurance
technical resource specializing in validation measurements, data
collection and laboratory test equipment.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Show proficiency in all duties of the Quality Assurance
Technician role including but not limited to visual, dimensional,
and functional testing.
Ability and willingness to provide short term coverage for the
QA technician position.
Ability to maintain a somewhat flexible schedule due to the
uncertainty of validation timing.
Lead all dimensional testing efforts for QA lab.
Serve as an on shift technical resource for metrology, Real SPC
and statistical data interpretation.
At the direction of the Quality Engineer, determine testing
priority for validation, start of run and in-process testing.
Make risk-based decisions regarding the acceptance of product
per procedure and established limit samples.
Make predictive decisions on the acceptability of a Start of Run
based on the evaluation of historical data.
Proficient in SAP transactions regarding holding and
Ability to perform testing on various laboratory equipment,
troubleshoot lab testing and equipment issues.
Assist in the calibration of lab instrumentation.
Ability to interpret specifications, drawings and QIPs to
determine appropriate test method, frequency, etc.
Ability to program AVID and configure testing in Real SPC.
At the direction of the Quality Engineer, manage Real SPC
schedule for lab. Assure that all testing is completed for each

Conduct monthly environmental monitoring (biological and

Preferred Education: Associate's degree in a quality or science
related field preferred
American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification preferred
Experience: At least five years' experience in a Quality
Assurance or related environment
Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a plastics
Previous work experience in visual and dimensional
Previous experience in a GMP regulated environment
Specific Knowledge: Computer proficient in Microsoft Excel and
