This person will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and compiling payroll data to maintain payroll records and information for transmittal to Automatic Data Processing (ADP), while assuring accuracy for processing by performing the following duties.Sound like you? You'll have the following experience:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experienceFPC or CPP designation preferred5+ years of corporate payroll experienceStrong PC skills, including high proficiency in MS ExcelADP payroll software experience preferred, but not requiredStrong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skillsAbility to communicate with various levels of staff and managementAbility to deal sensitively with confidential materialDecision making, problem solving, and analytical skillsOrganizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills in a fast paced environmentWe're Dynamic & Innovative. In an ever-changing business you will be nimble in seizing opportunities to pioneer effective ways to meet and exceed your responsibilities:Workers Compensation - make payments to the workers comp agencies and compliance with annual auditsDevelop in depth understanding of Payroll Database to be able to create AdHoc reports on demandInterprets company policies and government regulations in connection with payroll proceduresDocument and maintain procedures within the payroll departmentCalculates taxable portion of employee relocation cost and reconciles general ledger accountManage Expat Agreements and tax compliancePreparation of government reportsAudit and reconcile wide range of personnel actions and payroll documents for more than 1000 employeesCross train team members in your specific area of expertiseProcess accurate employee payTransmit biweekly payroll to ADPBalance biweekly payroll and prepare the payroll journalRecords changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll recordsPrepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductionsInitiates check request forms for payroll related wires and various payroll paymentsPrepares and keys journal entries as neededPrepares various reports, as instructed by supervisorInitiates new states, departments, etc., within the payroll systemCoordinates vehicle mileage reporting and calculates taxable fringe benefits resulting frompersonal useAssists auditors for the purpose of providing supporting documentation and/or information on internal process that is required for auditReconciliation of payroll related general ledger accountsWe're Together.
