If you are you a go-to person for advice, then become an First Horizon Bank Senior Relationship Banker! You will work to deepen the relationships to be clients' key contact for banking advice. Engaging with them to uncover potential needs, you'll use your product knowledge, expertise, and exceptional customer service to build trust and ensure their satisfaction. You'll appreciate being at the heart of our retail branches!

A day in the life:

  • Build client relationships by listening to our client's' needs and determining which products will best meet their financial goals.
  • Support of teller line and provides all other deposit products and loans at the customer's request
  • Cross-sell and make referrals to bank partners to generate new business and deepen existing client relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Possessing a thorough understanding and knowledge of the required documents to open/renew accounts as well as the products and services offered by the bank:
  • Greeting all customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Evaluates needs of potential customers and offers appropriate financial products and services.
  • Prepares new customer application and obtains all required information to open new/renew accounts; ensures all regulatory required disclosures are provided to customer.
  • Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
  • Informs and advises customers of status or enhancements to current account productivity, and suggests resolution on account disputes and other account activity.
  • Generating referrals from existing customers and maintaining a list of top prospective customers; reaching out daily to prospects to inform them of available products and services offered by the company.

  • Partners with Teller employees to uncover additional existing and potential customer needs; pro-actively focusing on building and deepening all customer relationships.
  • Comprehends and adheres to all security and compliance procedures for protection of cash, including consistent use of dual control; maintains customer confidentiality at all times.
  • Balances and reconciles all transactions on a daily basis, ensuring minimal cash overages or shortages; immediately reports discrepancies to supervisor for resolution; modifies actions to minimize discrepancies from occurring in the future.
  • Maintains and implements up-to-date knowledge of job-related policies, procedures and processes; consistently follows and applies all banking regulations and Company policies and procedures.
  • Completes, passes and maintains an up to date status for all positional and company required compliance and regulatory courses by assigned due date(s).
  • Participates in special projects and assignments and performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma and or GED with a minimum of three year's experience in a financial services sales position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to successfully complete Universal Banker training and pass the final exam.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system & Microsoft Word and Outlook; knowledge of banking software systems preferred.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematic calculations.
  • Ability to read and listen, understand and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing.
  • Certifications and Licenses: None.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

Note: As part of the employment process for this position, you will have to meet the requirements of a background credit check. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.
