AWS DevOps Manager

Our client in the restaurant delivery service (RDS) industry is
expanding their DevOps Team. The teams first priority is to hire an
AWS DevOps Manager that will report to the Director of Engineering.
Your first priority will be to build out DevOps best practices,
processes and procedures. You and your team will be responsible for
deployments of new services, optimal configurations, health
monitoring and solution implementation. To be successful in this
position you need to highly skilled with Kubernetes and have
experience working in a enterprise AWS environment.
Responsibilities include; ensuring Kubernetes clusters are running
with optimal configuration and latest stable versions of packages.
Ensure health monitoring and statistics systems are operating
correctly (Jaeger, Grafana, Kiali). Propose and implement a
solution for multi-cluster deployments. You will also help migrate
containerized apps into Kubernetes. In addition you will work with
engineers to design deployment and rollouts. To be successful in

industry company (Uber, Lyft, Grubhub, Postmates.)
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience working with Istio, Helm and Keel
Experience with canary deployments
Extensive experience with AWS in an enterprise level
DevOps leadership experience building devops processes, procedures
and best practices
Extensive experience working with Kubernetes
DevOps or SRE experience that stems from a background on the
Strong scripting experience with Python, Powershell, Node.JS, GO,
Complete knowledge and familiarity of AWS cloud-based services, as
well as containerization, logging, monitoring and configuration
Experience with Jenkins, DataDog, Jira Actions
