The Mechanical Assembler III will assemble from drawings, bills of
materials and assembly procedures with general supervision.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Not listed in any particular order)
Proficient at interpreting drawings.
Knowledge of complex hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
Proficient with measuring instruments, hand and power tools, and
Ability to rework complete product line.
Communicates effectively with Production, Engineering and Test
Familiar with Operational Excellence Process Standards and
Contribute and assist in Lean and Kaizen implementation
Ability to assemble complete product line with minimal support.
Ability to mentor junior personnel and assist in coordination of
Performs final inspection of all assemblies and documentations,
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by
supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Understand and comply with all safety and environmental
requirements and company policies of Weatherford.
Good English skills - reading, writing and speaking.
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in mechanical assembly
Mechanical aptitude for working with complex, detailed valves.
Basic computer skills.
Advanced knowledge of product lines.
Advanced knowledge and comprehension of mechanical drawings and
bills of materials.
Familiar with manufacturing process.
Compliance with ISO 9000/2000 system.
Lean / Kaizen experience.
