Job Description:

DescriptionSecurity Guard Insure safety & security of company associates, premise property, and assets.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The ability to satisfactorily adhere to company attendance policies.Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of premises.Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.Restrict access to the facility to unauthorized persons.Operate metal detection devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles in and out of the facility.Answer telephone calls to answer questions, and provide information regarding as necessary.Write reports, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, enter product information into a database for tracking purposes.Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery at your station to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.Warn persons of rule infractions or violations of company policies and procedures.Perform First Aid for minor injuries and refer advanced medical treatment for more serious injuries.Respond to associate's request for service and/or assistance in work and non-work related situationsSkills:Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, & strategies to promote effective security operations for the protection of Stuller associates, property, & assetsKnowledge of administrative or clerical procedures such as word processing, managing files andrecords.Experience:High school diploma or equivalent
