with the bestAs a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible
for:
- Ensure all operator and BH HS&E policies and procedures are
understood and enforced.
- Assume responsibility for the proper management of the
mud-logging unit, including crew, equipment and operations while on
tour.
- Understand and monitor all well site operations.
- Ensure that all equipment are functioning properly. Perform
regular and frequent calibration checks of instruments and routine
maintenance is performed as required on all equipment, particularly
sensors.
- Keep in mind the basic concept of service; ensure that all
tasks performed for the client exceed the client's standards.
- To reliably inform and advise the client of well conditions
during all drilling related well site operations.
- Notify well site personnel of any anticipated or observed
drilling problems related to geology, detection of a kick, or lost
circulation.
- Monitor Pits, Well flow rates in or out in order to detect
fluid gains or losses.
- Monitor parameters and trends according to the operation:
drilling, circulating, tripping, etc.
- Monitor Advantage system / Rig displays (change,
additions).
- Manage the database and ensure the quality and integrity of the
well data; ensure that the real time data transmitting is reliable
and meets requirements.
- Establish accurate and comprehensive Logs as per client's
format. Update all logs, include standard SLS set, time logs prints
and plots requested by Client daily and as required
- Be prepared to supply the Client with technical information
concerning equipment and processes used in mud logging, as well as
any other relevant information requested by Client.
- Use industry and Client provided gas interpretation methods to
evaluate quality of reservoirs and source rocks.
- Ensure all information required for completing all Daily
reports is monitored, recorded, and available on time for inclusion
into the final report.
- Rig-Up unit and all equipment as required, conforming to scope
of work. Ensure all installations are performed in a safe
manner.
- When required, produce summaries of bore-hole hydraulics in use
(daily and at Client's request), using the appropriate calculation
model for well site conditions.
- Submit a detailed report of any equipment or software
malfunctions to the base and report the action(s) taken to repair
or solve the problems.
- Assist well site personnel to understand and use data
interpretations provided by BH.
- Ensure all advanced equipment and services are running and
accurately collecting data to the databaseFuel your passionTo be
successful in this role you will have:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Offshore experience in oil and gas
- Have knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, its competitors,
products, markets, key players, and customers
- Demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer-based programs related to
the application of oilfield products or servicesAs part of our
