DESCRIPTIONPURPOSESafely, efficiently and expeditiously use
designated equipment and tools, and follow established processes
and procedures to provide stocked, staged and work-in-process
materials in support of production.RESPONSIBILITIES The
responsibilities described here are representative of those an

the following:Unload and load delivery trucks.Verify product
description, quantity and quality based on accompanying shipping
documentation.Pick, load and move items based on work orders or
other documentation.Perform MRP/ERP transactions, to include job
order receipts and issues, material location transfers and shipping
documentation.Process Purchase Orders and Shipping Orders.Organize
and complete job paperwork and other administrative tasks, as
needed.Drive vehicles/equipment to deliver items to stocking,
staging, lay-down or specified work areas.Receive and follow
instructions and assignments from Supervisor and transmit them to
department employees.Act as department supervisor in Supervisor's
absence.Perform daily routine and preventive maintenance on
department equipment and tools.Ensure department employees function
as a team; perform duties in a safe, efficient and expeditious
manner; follow approved processes and procedures; and
collaboratively interact with other departments.Assist in training
and cross-training of personnel.Continuously monitor and assess
department processes and procedures from the perspective of
efficiency, productivity, safety and quality.Ensure that the
department operational and contiguous areas are maintained in a
clean, orderly and safe condition.Assist with period inventory
count, as required.Ensure that stocking, staging and storage areas
are inspected, maintained, safe and clean.Promote and follow the 5S
system.TOOLSForkliftStaple gun.Ladders and platform.Wrenches
(Various hand wrenches).Pallet jack (manual or electric).Table

assess, counsel and mentor others.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh
School Diploma and/or GED.Related experience and/or training or
