Job Description:

• Conduct visual and mechanical inspections for aerospace components in accordance with published inspection specifications -
• Inspecting parts and documenting inspection results in accordance with company procedures -
• Preparing First Article Inspection reports including AS9102 -
• Prepare purchase orders for all outside processing, prepare shipping documents, process traveler moves in MRP -
• Maintain the Gage and Instrument Calibration Process -
• Interface with DCMA for government source inspection (GSI) -
• Act as Quality Manager back-up -
• Other duties may be assigned. - Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 Years Quality Inspection experience in an Aerospace environment -
  • Documenting corrective actions -
  • Familiar with ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP requirements -
  • Basic computer skills in Excel and Word
  • Detail oriented and methodical -
  • Capable of organizing, prioritizing, and multi-tasking -
  • Ability to operate standard mechanical measuring equipment such as a scale, micrometer, calipers, Optical Comparator and CMM -
