Sr. Business Analyst Position Description We're growing rapidly
and are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to help us provide
strategic and technical management support to a complex portfolio
of systems for one of our Federal client.The candidate should
possess exceptional business analysis skills (covering the full
software development and implementation lifecycle) and have
previous team or project leadership experience. This role requires
the candidate to develop client relationships, to translate client
needs into detailed work plans and schedules, to create
presentations and deliverables with a high degree of independence,
to delegate work, to run internal and external meetings, to mentor
team members, to resolve issues and impediments blocking work
completion and to communicate effectively with all levels of CGI
and client management. Top candidates for this position will have a
demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex systems environments,
work directly with clients, and act in a team leadership

Identify and understand customer expectations, study existing
business processes, program and legacy system.--- Communicate key
insights and findings to the product team by translating and
simplifying the requirements.--- Help design documents and maintain
system processes.--- Prioritize initiatives based on the business
needs and requirements.--- Understand business/operational and IT
systems analysis and integration.--- Perform a functional analysis
of existing systems/applications and document findings.--- Interact
with clients and/or business partners as well as programmers and IT
staff.--- Identify potential risks and offer mitigation
recommendations.--- Balance attention to detail while keeping the
big picture in mind.Required qualifications to be successful in
this role--- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer
Science, IT Systems or related discipline.--- 15 years of
experience as a Business Analyst/Functional Analyst or a similar
role.--- 10 years of additional relevant experience may be
substituted for education.--- Ability to obtain the equivalent to a
Public Trust clearance with the U.S. Federal Government.---
Experience with full systems development life cycle and strategic
information planning.--- Experience in data analysis and data
visualization to draw business-relevant conclusions.--- Expertise
in planning and conducting facilitative sessions for requirements
gathering.--- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.---
Experience with creating a detailed report and giving
presentations.--- Experience with business process
reengineering.--- Exposure to project management practices and
ability to manage cost, schedule and quality. your career with
