We are currently seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. The Superintendent will be the company's representative for a selected Commercial Construction project and will manage it from start to completion. This role will provide on-site leadership for major retail, grocery and commercial projects throughout the Lafayette, Louisiana region. This role will be. The Superintendent will.Responsible for managing the construction process and field related activity such as job site progress, safety, cost, quality, and reportingMonitor job progress on site; ensuring compliance with contract documents, the Quality Control Program and Safety protocols; developing and executing on the project plans and schedules; logistical coordination; and planning and preparing documentation to facilitate the close out processProvide on-site coordination for all phases of the construction projects including coordinating subcontractors, material, equipment and sequencing the day to day activities of workOverseeing individual projects to assure compliance with the scope and quality as established by the contract documentsProactively anticipating in solving problems that could delay constructionPhysically inspecting projects to monitor progress and compliance with project standardsAttend and conduct regularly scheduled progress meetingsComplete weekly reporting and assist with logistical coordinationMaintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specificationsProactively identify and track project critical items to manage risk and prevent schedule delaysManage general costs and resources to maximize project profitabilityManage relationships with clients and vendors to ensure seamless conflict resolution, account maintenance, and overall development of client relationshipProvide leadership in safety by maintaining clean, safe working conditionsConduct safety meetings, training and file timely accident reports

Requirements:
