The Demand & Forecast Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining sales forecasts and demand planning for all manufactured Tides Medical products. The activities include building and monitoring historical sales and shipment data, calculating baseline forecasts, working with multi-department stakeholders to establish incremental forecasts for product launches as well as other sales initiatives. Demand & Forecast Analyst will work closely with sales to create assumption-based rolling projections for future product launches. In addition, the role is expected to maintain all demand planning related tools (ERP system activities), and maintain historical data sources.Essential FunctionsThe Demand & Forecast Analyst is expected to perform the following in accordance with AATB, FDA, and Tides Medical stated policies and procedures while upholding Tides Medical's mission and corporate values:

  • Calculating statistical baseline forecasts
  • Creating statistical modeling based on historical information
  • Reviewing historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate actuals vs. projected forecast results
  • Initiating and managing forecast collaboration meetings with multi-department stakeholders
  • Review prior month's forecast accuracy and assess rolling forecast
  • Analyzing actual sales and emerging trends in comparison to forecasts
  • Developing and maintaining very strong relationships with customer service and sales team members through listening and communication skills to ensure an effective sales forecasting process
  • Building new product launch or extension forecasts to support company growth
  • Provide input in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
  • Communicating with distribution and production to provide information on daily/ weekly changes to demand
  • Maintaining accuracy of all production and inventory, including any forecast modeling within ERP systemAdditional functions may include:
    • Track, assess, and report performance to production goals
    • Implements metrics in coordination with production management
    • Perform quality assurance reviews ensuring data integrity for production data
    • In-depth knowledge of inventory management systems to accurately track and log transactions as required
    • Works with external departments that are internal customers for Tides production
    • Works with shipping and customer service to ensure inventory levels are adequate and meeting customer needs
    • Provides input and cooperatively supports internal customers to production
    • Trains new personnel on inventory management processes and/or ERP system

      Requirements:
      • Bachelor's Degree
      • 3-5 years of work experience in Forecasting, Sales Analysis, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Management
      • Demonstrated history of working cooperatively in a team environment with multiple process stakeholders
      • Experienced in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
      • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills (written & verbal)
      • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments (basic project management skills)
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
      • Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities
      • Ability to work across the organization and collaborate
      • Self-motivated and action oriented with capability to develop necessary skills required Work EnvironmentPhysical demands:
