As an Appliance Repair Technician with Mr. Appliance, you are a valued member of our team by providing excellent customer service to our customers and using your appliance repair expertise. As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are a key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficiency installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment. This position is right for you if you are self motivated, good communicator, reliable, have a knack for troubleshooting and good time management skills.

  Specific Responsibilities
  
  • Diagnoses and repair residential appliances
  • Install home appliances/equipment
  • Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customers home
  • Provide cost estimates for repairs/installation and collect payment using our state-of-the art mobile app
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets and weekly reports as required
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials
  • Exhibit safe driving and efficient use of company vehicle and equipment
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross training in related position
    Job Requirements
    
    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Pass drug test and background check
    • Ability to learn the use of our mobile app and navigate tablet based technology
    • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
    • Physically able to do the job which can require lifting, stooping, reaching and climbing.
    • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
      Physical Demands
      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance

      Compensation: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
