Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Senior Staff Accountant position at Campbell Business Solutions, LLC is responsible for managing complex accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting client accounting needs. This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional who can handle full-cycle accounting, assist with month-end and year-end close, and collaborate with clients and internal teams. The Senior Staff Accountant will provide leadership and guidance to junior staff while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. Core Responsibilities - Senior Staff Accountant Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple clients or company divisions. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including account analysis and adjustments. Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Assist with payroll processing, payroll tax filings, and sales tax compliance. Support audit preparation and respond to client or auditor inquiries. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding financial matters. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of accounting experience in public or private practice. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Experience with client-facing accounting services. Experience with payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance documentation. Experience mentoring or training junior staff. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modeling. Growth Path This position offers professional growth and leadership opportunities.
